Nice work. I'm about to embark on a similar project fonverting my Pinnacle to 10 speed. Just need the brifters and I'm good to go - may go the Microshift route for those.

The bike is otherwise virtually unmarked, so it's a waste of cash and resources to replace it with a new machine solely to get 10 speed on my general use bike
can't help but ask (and if it's drop-barred I know nothing about such things) but how many speeds is it at the mo (7?) and why 10 rather than 9?

edit - my 7 to 9 speed jobbie - it now has mudguards though.

Nice bike, nice photo, but not in the Scottish Borders. Looks more like Green Lowther, which is in South Lanarkshire, looking towards Lowther Hill which is on the boundary between S Lanarkshire and Dumfries and Galloway.

I have been waiting on someone picking me up on it. I aspire to reach your advanced levels of pedantry.

But aye, the photo is from the top of Green Lowther looming South towards Lowther Hill and the Borders beyond.

Bloody great climb.
