Use of racist labels in the Cafe

It isn't acceptable.
Apart from a recent post regarding the epithet 'nigger', I'm not sure the place is littered with such offensive terms.

I wrote a lengthy post stating I don't find swear words offensive. And stating I do find racist language far worse. And that I find it odd that one thing is censored and the other isn't.

But when I posted it, it didn't get posted. But that's the gist of it.

It isn't, but strangely it wasn't reported either.

Ideally when anyone sees anything they don't think is appropriate for the Cafe - which is intended as a light and fun part of the site - please use the Report link underneath the post.

Although, that is the first time I have seen one of those words used here, and the other one was only published in the original post of a thread started by CoG.

No, but as a non-public, closed part of CC it is a better container for more robust discussions; between the public "light" Cafe and "heavier" non-public CAD, it is the better of the two. (It may be consigned to the archives after I've had chance to read it though.)

Unfortunately us mods can't read every thread / post so just make sure you all report content that you think is inappropriate and we'll at least have a heads-up to give it a look.
