I have tended to get lost and then do a sort of stop-start to get directions from my phone.

Is there any cheap way of mounting a phone and using the navigation.

I do have a garmin 800 but its not really a gps bit and I don't always have it

thanks

You can put maps on the 800 as well
What phone do you have? If navigating using screen, the battery may drain so get a decent power pack to go with

Its more when my plans change and I decide to go to a train station e.g trying to find my way to Finchley Road station from Euston was no fun on a cold, dark wet night!

Garmin 800 does on the fly directions, get the official city navigator maps (I think they’re called)
