Using Cyclemeter for navigation

I'm doing my first 100 mile sportive next month. The last sportive I rode involved a small detour due to missing arrows, and I am anxious to avoid adding any extra miles to the next one!

I have the route plan as a GPX file and have successfully loaded this into Cyclemeter. My question is how I then use this to navigate the route. I can't find any information on how this works, but it seems pointless to be able to load a route if you can't then follow it using the app, so there must be a way! Can anyone help me?

Thanks
Mark

Having had a quick squint at Cyclemeter, I don't think it can do navigation. It seems to be designed for logging of training runs, effort, intensity and so on.

There are various apps out there for navigation from a GPX. I use OSMand, which takes a little bit of learning how to use. I think only the Android version does turn by turn instructions, so if you're an Apple person you'll need to find another way.
