I read a review recently of a new flask (I think it was literally a vacuum flask, as opposed to just insulated) that would keep drinks hot / cold for several hours with very little change in temperature. It may or may not have beeen designed to fit in a standard bottle cage. From memory it was about £25.

Unfortunately I didn’t make a note of the name and my Google skills aren’t up to the job.

Can anyone help? Or if I imagined it, any recommendations for bike friendly flasks that work well?

Thanks.

I wonder if it's the same one my mate bought? I remember having a conversation with him about it, and he was singing it's praises.
He was telling me how great it was, because "it keeps hot things hot; and cold things cold".
As he was showing it to me, I asked him what he had in it. "Some of the wife's chicken soup; and a choc-ice" was the reply .

Dual storage.

Stanley flasks are the varsity, although bottle cage compatibility is absent. Still and all, if you're carrying panniers they're otherwise the finest flasks you can buy.

I bought the missus a Sigg flask a while back and it's really good. I doubt that it's cage compatible, but they might do one that is.
