As long as it goes to a good home and I break even or make a profit I will be happy. I am tempted to do it up and then keep it as a winter hack but need to get it past my wife who wants me to sell it on.
Can't see you're likely to break even if you're spending on new wheels, cables and rack. A buyer can have a brand new one for 299 sovs and in a year have trouble selling it for a one-er.

If its the one im looking at £230 brand new .
Its a hybrid with 700 c wheels ? has it got 130 mm hub wheels or as some road hybrids use the mtb standard of 135 mm hubs?, if its the latter im not sure they do 501s in that hub width .

Good question, I will have to pop and measure, if not that I have the original wheels I can get trued up instead. It was a shame as I had the 501's sat doing nothing in the garage.
I have had lot's Discos and love them, they've taken me all over Europe. Refurbished as you say, then I'd give you £180 for it. I suppose anybody else £100-150. They do appear to have a decent residual value on Ebay.
