Does anyone else eat this stuff? You may turn your nose up at the name but I love the stuff and it's really low in fat.

Each 425g can contains,

380 calories
38.2g sugar
3.8g of fat (2.2g saturated)
0.6g salt

It tastes great and costs about 17p a tin! Great with jam or honey, hot or cold.

I've tried the tesco and asda ones. I prefer the tesco one myself.

I gather anything processed is lacking benefits health wise but on the odd occasion, this stuff is quick and great.

I like rice puddings, but never out of a tin

A guy I run with used to reckon eating two tins two hours before was what worked for him as pre-marathon food.

Meself I'd rather not, for fear I'd soon see it again, although for apres-event or simply as 'comfort food in this Wintry weather I'd agree with you.

All sugar, no fibre those rice puddings. My Bro used to eat 1-2 tins a day and ended up with a bit of stool looseness!
Enjoy in moderation!!!

Personally, I am all about the fibre. Museli, wholegrain pasta and lovely bananas! Not all in one go, mind you.
