On my local riding roads , bet it was a dreay and grey today and a bit chilly . I went east today rather than heading that way . Did you get a square from Peckleton village ? . Before a VV update you got the square by riding the road from Earl Shilton which just missed the square ,one day I clicked on this ride in VV which than took away the square causing my max square to crash from 30 something to about 15 😭. But not a big problem to reride it .lesson learnt always open a ride in activities just to make sure you get all the squares but no extra

Yes, rather cold and damp, I was rather under-dressed, as I thought it'd warm up a bit and come out sunny, but it never did

Yes, I went down Church Road in Peckleton & then down a nice tarmac drive

Headed west today on my monthly Imperial ton a filled in a gap I'd created around Rugeley and added a totol of 12 new squares ,total now 6919 ,max cluster jumped up by 21 to 3767 . 2 hrs 41 mins riding to grab to first square ,it's getting more difficult as I go

3 very off-road ones today and up to 33 x 33. +12 squares, 79 increase in max cluster. Although I'm quite a bit behind @13 rider I'm now looking at a minimum of 50 miles for the next one.

Does anyone know of a safe place to leave the car for a couple of hours while I tick off some square . It would probably take 3 or more imperial tons to get all the squares from home

Were you able to ride the bit due West of Draughton , I seem to remember it being just a grass track I did it in summer and struggled

If this is the one, i went down the road in Maidwell, then it's all nicely surfaced on the bridle path above Dale Farm and Maidwell Lodge

Yes that's the one , I went right before Dale Farm to I think Blueberry Lodge the into the square up the track mentioned . Looking at the map I believe this was to also grab the square immediately below it at the same time

An Imperial ton ride from Leicester to the delightful Corby to grab some squares on my Western edge

7 in total . I now have 3 53*53 squares horizontally , need 4 squares spread across my southern edge to get to 55*55

@Norry1 are you local to Basall common how are the HS2 closures that's my normal route out towards my bottom left corner where I need a couple of squares

HS2 shows up pretty well now on Google Maps , Lavender Hall Rd & Truggist Lane are open, just Waste Lane closed until 7 Dec.

I've been riding indoor for the last month or so - so I'm now out of date. HS2 closures were not an issue last few times I went that way.
