9 new squares to the South West, 19 more to max cluster. Only one of which involved off-roading, up a reasonably well maintained gravel track.

16 new squares on my Southern edge following an imperial century ride . Had to leave 1 for another day ,the road turned into a private driveway about 200mts short for me . The CCTV and strictly private signs did deter me . There was a footpath option but it looked pretty rough and having just plugged my tubeless tyre I didn't want to risk further issues 50 miles from home . I think there's a footpath from the north for my 2nd attempt

I've not got that one (yet). Strava heatmap doesn't show much traffic on the bridleway from the north so it may not be great. I reckon that either walking or riding the bridleway on your right where you turned round or getting on the towpath would be my preferred options.

I hadn't considered the tow path before setting out and didn't realise it entered the square . The path looked like just grass but it would be rideable if it's dry

Tow path is the answer, it's not muddy now, more like concrete

Agree , slightly annoyed I hadn't considered it when route planning just had the road/driveway and the footpath as back up

I've just uploaded a cycling holiday and despite me having ridden most of the routes before, I managed without planning to pick up 3 more tiles.

Ride up to Brackley and Towcester today got me an extra 18 tiles, plus added 28 to the cluster. Had to make six "spurs" off the route to claim tiles (including one that was a little bit off-road), the rest came from just normal road riding.

Some off the nicer parts 😁. You can use the Great central way to go straight through the town centre without touching any roads

Yes, I still have Beaumont Leys for another day. I used some of the GCW, but the tarmac was very uneven, so I took it easy

A weeks cycling adventure in France saw me add 327 squares to my total ,now 7367 obviously no increase in Max square or cluster
