You should have detoured into Watermead to grab the two tiles there. One you can get easily via other roads, but the second one it's really the only way to cross it off, so hitting them both on one ride is the easiest way. But at least you did get the Folly Farm tile (opposite side of A413 to Hardwick) which was a pain for me because the first time I didn't go quite far enough so had to do it again!

You can always do that - just one more - and then another and then another. And before you know it you've added another 10 miles to your ride
It'll keep for another time.The benefits of Everytile live view. The tile ticked over when I got to the gate at the start of the grassy bridleway. I had to enter the farm property and go about 20 yards in. I had planned to go 100m or so into the bridleway, but when i saw the grass and saw I'd got the tile, I thought "naaaah - not on my road bike" the tarmac and grit was bad enough as it was. Having a gravel bike makes you fussy

Did this ton ride yesterday with three others from my club. 43 new tiles. Never been over that way (Cirencester/Fairford) before. There were at least five B52s at Fairford.

18 new tiles in South Oxford area today - a targeted mission from the Park and Ride. Gravel bike with lots of bridleways used. You wouldn't want to do it on a road bike (well I wouldn't). Only went wrong once.

Thankfully there are plenty there on the other side of it to justify another ride at some point. For now I'm trying to fill out my square to around 3 layers all round the outside of it.The Brize one on the right I think is the only way of getting it without going onto the base. And you have to go as far as you possibly can along a small industrial estate road to get it. Right up to the closed gate of some depot. When i saw that gate I thought "sheeeet - not gonna get it" and then it ticked over 🙌

Sadly it was a clear miss. Must have just messed up the route planning or relied upon "I'll get that one with the live view during the ride" and then forgotten about it or something.
