I like to at least *try* and compete, but I can't bring myself to take it seriously enough to pick riders I wouldn't want to cheer on anyway. It's quite a serious failing really, unless you like the entire peloton

My teams are generally riders I like, plus riders with names I find interesting. Sometimes the latter become the former. I became a fan of Domenico Pozzovivo only after picking him because I liked his name.

Look out for Victor Loulergue. I'm tipping him for great things because I've done a careful analysis of his career I think he has an interesting name.

It's a standalone thing. I don't pick any UAE riders, I also don't pick any Never Say Israel riders. I'm also a Mads P fanboy but I'll happily pick MvdP and the same "kicks his arse" usually applies

I'm adjusting expectations for the Killer Bees. The new stretch target is not to be last in the whole of Velogames, and they are doing pretty well. There are a whole 217 teams that are worse. That's 1.4% of the overall teams. Not bad, eh?

Admittedly yesterday wasn't our greatest day, with only 14 worse teams (0.09%) on stage 4.
