I was unlucky at Dauphine, Pog should get 2 stages. On paper my Swiss squad looks good but you never know what might happen these days.

Normally 4 or 5 days before the start. Or thereabouts. Less than a week anyway. Also the earlier you do it the more likely you are to get caught out by late changes to team composition.

Just buggered around with my team a bit. When the racing starts I'm now going to keep thinking I'm scoring points with Rider X only to find out I transferred him out because I couldn't stop fiddling around....

Quite - always happens. Don't fiddle. (Rumour has it makes you go blind).
Or, if you must fiddle, join a trad celtic jigs and reels band !!

It's extremely satisfying when it works, which is almost never.
To be truly Pogless you have to ditch all UAE riders though - otherwise you're still earning points from him as ass points* for them
*Assist points, obviously. Don't be rude.
