Venus and Mars

well you shouldn't need a start map app to find venus - it's the bloody bright one early evening, or just before dawn.
Mars would be the pretty bright red one. And the other really bright one, but not as bright as venus, and later in the night would be Jupiter.

It even works indoors. Lil Henry loves it. It's got him really interested in the Stars and planets. he can already recite the planets in order from the sun and even some of the planets moons.

you always get cloud if you put your telescope in the boot for a weekend away. Perfect conditions are guaranteed by leaving it behind

I was out looking for comet Lovejoy a couple of weeks ago with my binoculars and had never realised until then how red Betelgeuse is.
