One example, Iast Tuesday in Conwy, I was filtering traffic on my left when a woman stepped out just in front of me. I avoided her and she couldn't apologise enough as I swerved round her. I must be lucky to live where I do.

Much the same up here in Scotland. Perhaps some of the membership of CC have more experience of these incidents, with a large proportion living in the overcrowded, ill tempered south eastern parts of our island?
The wet climate here also ensures that cyclists are a rare breed and seen more as quirky than pests!

I hate to mention it, but this happened on my very first visit to Mull!
