Love the wheels, they carbon or aluminium?

They look like Mavic Ksyriums to me excellent aluminium wheels from the reports I've heard; after watching some of the pros on the TdF I don't think I'd want Carbon wheels myself.

I though you had some sort of skewed code of ethics which negated you ever owning a bike with those funny french-named egg beater thingummies moving the chain about on those new-fangled multiple rear-sprocket efforts?
