Hi to all, I have a consignment of velodrome bikes. I have no idea if they are any good or indeed if there is any interest in these bikes. I can't post pictures yet as I am a newbie but the frames have the name Paul Donohue and a tandem with the name Bob Jackson.
Any advice would be welcome, as to what direction I should pursue to market the bikes.
Cheers Scotty

Hello Scotty and welcome to the forum.

You can use a photo sharing site and post links if you want us to see the bikes.

Sounds like an interesting collection. We are more concerned on here with the history and restoration of bikes. I think most everyone knows how and where to market items so I'm sure you can handle that aspect without any help from us. There's a classified section on here.

@Scottylum you need to do a certain number of post's before you can post pictures so do a few more answers on this thread and you will be there
They will be of interest to someone for sure so please do not just throw them down the tip
where are you based as there might be a cycle chat member who is local to you and prepared to help you if needed
as @Cycleops says they sound like an interesting collection
As for value who knows till a better idea of condition and spec is known

@Scottylum off course you are in Scotland .
That's a good quantity of bikes good or bad .
Quite a few Scottish members on the forum but unsure who is close.
@Pat "5mph" and @annedonnelly and @User9609 are all north of the border and might have a better idea of who is local to you.
Get some pictures up then we can offer help and guidance .
Shame that you are not nearer to Northamptonshire .

Hi @Scottylum, welcome to the forum!
I think the Stirling Cycle Hub at the rail station should be your first port of call.
They can put you in touch with local people in the know.
Here in Glasgow, I recommend you get in touch with the folks of Freewheel North, the cycling hub in Glasgow Green.
Norman, the founder, and Katy, the head bike mechanic, have lots of knowledge.
Hope this helps a wee bit!

Hi guys, so is there a demand for these bikes. I have about 10 complete and 10 incomplete. I will end up listing them all on Ebay at some point but I really wanted to know more about the history of these bikes,
Cheers Scotty
