Ahh yes l totally get that . l will press on with the Campagnolo set . Now another question .....do l fit down tube shifters etc or can l get away with campagnolo brake/shifter of some sort for the Olmo ?

I have to own up and admit that downtube is the way to go but if l want to keep the group Campagnolo it is going to be expensive , especially when you add in the cost of some decent Campag. brake levers . !!

I will sleep on it , there really is no rush and if push comes to shove l could nick the Campagnolo shifters off the Coppi, at least l know they work beautifully with 8spd.

glad you like it , l bought it a few years ago from a slightly suspicious Italian carpet dealer . It really should not be on the floor of my workshop but it needs a thorough clean before l put it back in the house.
