Footage from 1962. No helmets, cafe raids and newspapers stuffed up the jerseys for the descents. The bit about 12 minutes in with the chap in the red and black jersey (who is clearly finished) getting back on his bike and riding until he falls off is heartbreaking. I wonder who he was?
