As per my other threads I'm using this bike as a project to get to learn more about maintenance. Saying that at the rate I'm spending money I could have got a new bike! But hey I'm learning a lot.

So next up is to replace the headset.

Looking at this it has a 1 1/8 Aheadset

So I've been looking around I found this

If I'm reading this correctly I have a "Zero Stack" and specifically a zs44.

At this point I'm beginning to get confused as to what I would need to order. Any pointers would be great - I did Google and find a few threads but I'm not really getting anywhere.

There are usually numbers on the bearing cartridges which can be used to order new ones. The diameters and angles (where the cartridge meets the "cup" or frame) are both critical.
