VPN's - any recommendations

Does anyone have any feedback regarding VPN providers, good or bad. I tried FrootVPN when they were a free service but they have now moved to a paid system so it's time to consider the market.

Private Internet Access - £25 or so a year, easy to set up with a big range of servers and works unnoticed in the background with streaming stuff.

Openvpn to your own virtual server or tor, depending on what you want.

Using insecure public wifi when out of the house?

My cousin visited and was using wifi in a busy cafe. I asked him about security and he told me that he uses the Private Internet Access VPN (see post #4).

Never mind that. Does anyone trust the mobile networks any more with all their intrusive filters and so on? Encrypt everything you can and VPN what you can't (such as cycle chat).

Hope this isnt a thread hijack but does anyone know which vpns can be applied at router level so that all devices in the house using wifi are hidden
