Wahoo Bolt 3 - Mystery Routes?

Hi All,

hoping someone has a solution for my issue. I've had 21 unrecognized routes mysteriously appear on my Bolt 3. I've never heard of them and they don't appear in "My Routes" on the Wahoo (iPhone) app. I can't figure out how they got there or how to get rid of them. I have 12 routes showing on the Wahoo app but 35 on the Bolt. I've recently updated the firmware (W148 - Version 301599) to see if that might resolve the issue but no joy.

I'm stumped... anyone else have this issue or know how to get rid of them?

I can't tell you where they have come from but if you can't delete them via the Wahoo or the app this suggests they come from a third party app. Do you use Komoot, Strava, RWGPS? Has the update accidentally altered settings in your Wahoo? I did a major update a few weeks ago. Very unusually it played havoc with all the personalised settings on my Wahoo Roam.

Wahoo treats routes from third party sources differently to those created in the Wahoo app. You can only delete routes from third party apps in the relevant app.

looks like my message got truncated... so i'll try again. The video posted by Colin seems to be the culprit. The "mystery routes" are, in-fact, Wahoo canned routes. Guess i'll have to wipe and reload my Bolt 3
