Wahoo Bolt users - Question

I have come across a problem I have not met before. I found a file on Ridewithgps in an area I intend to ride. I copied it to my library, made some changes and saved it. I could see the route on my Wahoo Elemt page and open the map. But it would not transfer to the bolt.
I then made my own plan of the exact same route seperate from the copy. It transferred over without problems. What could cause this?

Never had this issue but then i've not copied files, always created my own and then transferred them.

I have sent the question to RWGPS. The problem is obviously using the copy file.
