If I am going to be modest which I will be. I know a thing or two about the bike industry in the UK... The mark up on A bike is some where from 15% to 25% (if they are not shifting large numbers) which is round about what you got in buying your bike. But out of the money they get they have to pay ALL the bill's which just keep on going up and up. Out of 10 bike sales 1 will get a 5% maybe if they are good at the old barter they will get 10% and I Know this is just about the same % in Ireland, France, Spain, USA and New Zealand.
