Now, I am a Lpool fan of many years. But I find this just too much.
I know ALL football clubs are businesses and I know they have to make money. BUT!!!!!

Money has been putting me off football for years, I've always followed Liverpool and Watford also.

History innit.
I wouldn’t buy one but I suspect there are a few fans who would. It was part of the stand.
I’m sure some clubs sell turf from the pitch so it is similar.

Liverpool v Watford this Saturday.
Would not like to be in your house watching that. You will have no voice after shouting EVERY move for 90 minutes and be black & blue from beating yourself up.

After a public hanging, in the days of Dick Turpin etc, they used to sell pieces of the rope to the public for souvenirs. However, they actually sold more rope than was ever used for the hanging. Hence the expression "Money for old rope".

I wonder if they sell more bricks then there were in the stand they demolished? Would be a good little earner.

I was at Wembley the day the Scots nicked half the pitch back in 1977.
Many years later when I moved to Glasgow an auld fellow living down the road swore blind that he had a bit of the Wembley turf still in his garden, and even invited me around to have a look at it.
