My SIL & BIL have a Crystal Palace brick which is part of a wall at the ground.
I might be wrong but I think it was a few hundred pounds yonks ago.
It must be about the late 1970's when i watched Blackburn Rovers play at Crystal Palace FC,which is in Croyden if i'm correct. In those days football hooliganism was a major problem and this proved to be so at this match when a brick was thrown at our coach breaking one of the windows. We had to come all the way back up here with a broken window,which was kind of boarded up with flattened cardboard boxes and tape. I kept that brick and put in in my mum and dad's backyard/garden. I kept it oh about 15 years till i moved out, when they must've thrown it away. That incident came up many times in conversation,with me referring to the missile as the Croyden brick.
