Not sure, but as it was a very short clip I would assume minor injury; certainly nothing critical - but then that might have been a case of pure luck!

Matthew Parris should be taken in for a few hours of interrogation every time an incident like this occurs, not because there's any likelihood that he's personally responsible, but just on principle.

I cycle that way almost daily. Based on the location one could quite easily surmise that the culprit in all likelihood lives within a few yards of where the wire was strung up. I wouldn't expect the plod to make such prejudiced assumptions. But then nor do I expect them to do anything to try to rule out that possibility either.
