1st time I had it I was convinced I'd broken a bone in my foot and spent hours trying to re trace my previous days steps and trying to recall if I'd twisted it etc. After a day or so I went to A and E for an X-ray!

Exactly the same, couldn't work out how I'd broken my big toe, couldn't even bear a sheet on it

Nothing worse than when the children come bouncing in from school and dive all over you and feet being trod on... even typing this makes me wince...

I dont know how i did it.I can only think that i got it awkwardly tangled up in my duvet whilst i was asleep.

Hmm ... I had a similar problem and I initially blamed duvet tangles too but it turned out to be the DVT that fubared my left leg!
