Watch it!

Do you wear a watch in bed?

  • Yes, because I'm a constantly prepared, go getting man/woman of action

  • No, its utterly ridiculous and you're all daft as a brush.

  • Due to a terrible cocaine/amphetamine habit, or working in the NHS, I never actually sleep.

Occasionally a certain topic pops up between me and Mrs D. Indeed, Mrs D thinks I am odd because I wear a watch in bed. After years in the Army on ops sleeping semi or fully clothed, and decades in the Fedmasons working shifts or on call, wearing a watch in bed is second nature to me. That said, I did agree to stop sleeping with a shotgun under my pillow.

So do you or don't you?

I threw my watch away when I retired.
