Great site! But it has confirmed what I always thought - that the west of Scotland must be one of the windiest places on the planet. Yet more weather warnings for heavy rain and high winds for the next few days. Seems to be unrelenting recently .

There's a huge weather system in the north Pacific as well - bit of a breeze there too!

Nice to be able to see the trade winds and roaring forties, and the doldrums - you read about these things, but it seems more real in an animation.

And if you want storms, centre the thing on the south pole...!
