hmm..ok..but wouldnt the water produced remain in the water cycle and go back to th esky as steam when it's heated up by the sun?If you removed water from the atmosphere, its humidity would decrease. Reducing the humidity would reduce rainful, and increase the chances of a drought.
We are completely doomed.![]()
They obviously did not consider the disaster that would result if the refrigeration plant broke down on the tanker.Someone on the BBC news this morning suggested they should bring the snow down from Scotland in tankers.....

I wasn't being entirely serious, but you are correct, I think. The sum total of water remains the same...it's just that it is in an awkward/distant place. I don't know where the stuff is stashing itself away at the moment. It could be growing ice sheets in parts of Antarctica or lochs in Scotland. It's a worry.hmm..ok..but wouldnt the water produced remain in the water cycle and go back to th esky as steam when it's heated up by the sun?
We love all the welsh water which is gravity fed to Birmingham from the Elan ValleyI can't wait for the day when water becomes the new oil and then Wales will become the new Saudi.
How about Gene? What we need is a raining champion.
From Riyadh to Rhayader...I can't wait for the day when water becomes the new oil and then Wales will become the new Saudi.
I think it's time that we started to incentivise population decline - maybe tax credits for people who don't have kids?

It'll be good until someone decides Wales needs a "regime change".I can't wait for the day when water becomes the new oil and then Wales will become the new Saudi.
Quite. As our American friends put it, "How the hell did our oil end up under their sand?"The sum total of water remains the same...it's just that it is in an awkward/distant place.
good plan...then that welsh woman on the one show will have to cover herself up except for 2 small eye slots
Come and live in Ireland - no shortage of water here I can assure you.
