"Wax On, Wax Off'

ADVICE REQUIRED
(Not For My Car)

Can anyone recommend a good car wax/polish
Daughters car is going to be put into 'semi-storage' shortly, as she hasn't got a parking space at University - & can't get one in this year
(I'll still be using it maybe once a week, to keep it serviceable)

We have use of a neighbours garage, as our double is full, but sometimes their roof leaks
So, I'd like to 'coat' it, to prevent odd marks, after the water has 'filtered' through the roofing materials
Suggestions please

NB; this is a 5 year old picture of my car, but it's normally this colour - excepet on rainy days, like today

Roof and windows car cover ? better than 0.005 inch of wax?

Auto Balm. A bit of a ball ache to apply, but first class protection.

I use Autoglym Resin Polish. Excellent IMHO. I use it on car, motorhome and motorbike. Twice a year application.

I won a hundred bottles of Autoglym in a raffle some years ago, supposedly a lifetime supply. I still have 99 unopened bottles, so it looks like I am set for a very long life.

Buy a paint sealant, far tougher than a wax or polish, plenty on ebay.

Grab a half decent tarpaulin sheet. Much less labour intensive, and probably more effective than some wax.

Thought about that, but it's the chafing on the paint & removal inside a rather narrow garage
(car's a Vauxhall Adam, but quite long doors)

It's an Adam - why didn't you say so earlier? We heartily recomment it be placed in the garage and the door nailed shut
