My Wife bought one of the 'special scales' that state how much of one's body is water, how much fat, how much muscle etc. It seems I have a bone weight of about 6lbs - That's a lot lighter than I expected. I wonder if that includes the marrow, which may be quite heavy?

Your scales might be missing a number.
Average weight of an adult skeleton is about 24lbs.

So, perhaps, maybe, just a thought; what if the body was dropped into a rather large body processor - sort of like a food processor but much larger - and skip the burning part - which does admittedly use up a lot of energy - a simply puree the body? Then the liquid gooey remains could be poured down the lavatory, or slurped into the river or sea, or just do what lots of people do these days in Britain with noxious fluids, pour it all over the nearby National park.

Any the wild swimmers n paddle boarders would go mad!!
