Okay so the bikes are currently living in the conservatory which also houses a knackered old sofa and some other bits and bobs. The bikes are currently leaning against each other . We don't really use the conservatory to sit in so I am taking the executive decision to get rid of the scabby old sofa and turn it into a bike room. Being a conservatory there is no where to hang the bikes so I was thinking of a floor based rack to stand them in. I am very excited about having a dedicated bike room. What else do I need??

There is no public access round the back!! (Just read that back lol...oops) Only the neighbours can see in on either side and they know what we have anyway. Apart from the houses either side it is all openland behind with lots of trees!

... and as may have been spotted elsewhere on the forum I've had a purge on de-cluttering with lots of items for sale (and sold)

I lost my dining room to the bikes years ago,then he built a dedicated bikestore then a workshop, the dining room is now the gym. Its a good job i nailed the boys beds to the floor I can tell you !

Easy access in and out for thieves then surely. It only takes a follow home after a ride for them to know where the bikes are stored. I'd put some blinds up. Have fun in your new room!
