Well 3 days of Tucson use have passed and so far I have enjoyed it but would have been more enjoyable if I knew what was going on sometimes and if I knew what some of the beeps and graphics meant.
I am starting to get the feel that I have partially got the cruise control operation sorted but not 100%.
There's a green steering wheel with a green line either side that's on a lot of the time along with a slight stiffening of the steering wheel at times when the green steering wheel flashes ?
The central arm rest has 5 buttons that I am not sure what they all do?
Why didn't the hire company keep the manual in the car
The green steering wheel symbol, whiich you may have guessed, takes hold of the steering if the car thinks you have wandered off line. It is easy to switch off, on the steering wheel. Press and hold the lower right hand button for 3-4 secs, the light will then go to amber, switching it off. It will be on by default the next time the car is started. See the pic I highlighted in red. I have a Hyundai Bayon and feel sure the controls are very similar. I love the car, but it was a steep learning curve learning what all the chimes and bings are.
