Now, you might be thinking so what!! But.......aged 75, married 54 years, we have (for various reasons) never had one.
For years the family have nagged us to get one but we have bravely resisted.
2 days ago our daughter informed us that she had got us one for next year (in the Argos sale).......it arrived at 1700 yesterday.
Apparently the grandchildren will come, next December, to decorate it.
Looking forward to it in a strange way.

Always useful having grand kids to decorate trees. Shame they don't like taking them down too - some bribery may be needed
