Cycling back from work last night at 8pm was fun especially the 8km stretch down the fosse road, , nice 40mph tailwind but when it turned into a crosswind and a few branches hit me it wasn't such fun. Made it back in one piece tho........

Heavy Weather at this end. I had to pedal furiously to do about 5mph on the seafront yesterday, and it's sounding ominous out there this morning. About to brave it to get to the farmers' market. If I don't post later I've been blown into Swansea Bay...

Managed a 35 miler this morning with no rain but did get blown over while trying unsuccessfully to take a picture of the cruel sea. I'm glad there wasn't any traffic on the windiest bits which woul have been dangerous.

A bit of drizzle in Leicester - only 15 miles up the road.

I don't know what it was like over night but I woke up to find a leaf on my bedroom carpet, and a pot noodle container has arrived on the front lawn, apart from that nothing here.

It's been luvverly in my bit of Northumberland... I didn't go out on bike this morn coz I thought it was going to be horrible. Must've rained a lot overnight though, or upstream, cos the river's high. Clouding over now... no wind to speak of though. Hope it's fine tomorrow... going out for my ride then instead.
