Just read this following a snow warning headline .

The first snow of winter has hit the UK as the country braces for North Pole winds that threaten to send temperatures plummeting to -10C.

Cairngorm Mountain in the Scottish Highlands was pictured covered in snow and deer woke to a frost-covered Richmond Park in London.

I was in Richmond park this morning before sunrise and i didnt see any frost . In fact i had one less layer on this morning as it was rather warm .

I get the impression that weather reporting these days is all about being a media star.

So it doesn't matter if they talk complete gonads.

I rely on the Daily Express for my weather reports. I'm an optimist.

Well that's certainly when the frost comes down. I used to work night shift in the docks, and it was always the daylight that brought the real cold temperatures.

I am out early most days and it seems the same to me.

Met office is my go-to weather app. It seems the most accurate compared to the likes of accu-weather and various other sources. I ignore any news outlet posts about weather because the apocalypse is upon every other day according to them.

It was cold and a bit rainy this afternoon, so I put a coat on when I walked the dog.
It seemed to work as we both made it back home unscathed.

Reports of an 'Arctic blast' seemed a touch inaccurate.
