Anyway, lots of reptiles live in deserts. I think you all mean 'amphibian'..

If it wasn't for the rain, Manchester would still only be a little town among other little towns. It was the damp conditions that made the area highly suitable for the cotton industry - cotton fibres tend to snap if they get too dry.
