Cheese and strawberry jam is a fave of my wife.Well she is from Lancashire.

Another one for cheese and strawberry jam here too!

Another favourite of mine is nutella, crunchy peanut butter and jam on soft white bread.

Although not a butty, a guy I work with eats McDonald's fries dipped in a McFlurry - it does actually taste like donuts!!!

Bearing in mind I'm now 44, and have got over this aberration........
I reckon I would have been 11-12. Plain crisps and polo butties. I'm not sure what need this was answering but for a while I ate quite a few.
You have to understand that I grew up in Ellesmere Port, so this was either an attempt to get rid of the Stanlow fumes OR it was the Stanlow fumes what did it!

I quite fancy a butty like the one in the picture below though I reckon the horse would be more flavoursome.

Something my mum used to make for me as a kid was a pea butty!! Not had it in years, this thread had reminded me of it, might have to go and make myself one!! :hungry:

I do like a chip butty too!

Try pea and jam.

I did once when they were the only things available to satisfy a post pub hunger pang.

I can't remember what it tasted like.
