And apologies to all the good Yorkshire folk if I've mis-interpreted some words/phrases - please feel free to correct and add to.
So, the Tour is coming here (well, just across the border from me actually) so gives plenty of time for Phil, Paul & Co to brush up on their Yorkshire for a bit of commentary - surely too good an opportunity to miss and a glorious chance for our continental brothers and sisters to hear a bit of dialect.
"N'arn, 'ow do. And welcome t'first stage of this years T'our de France. Eeh by gum it's going t'be a reet good un. Lets tek a gander at weather. It's a reet maffin day but reckon it's gunna be silin' down later. It's a reet brant un wi' a berg or two in't middle - they're gunna be nithered, paggered & jiggered after tha lot. Flippin eck, tek a gander at Bradley faffin about pullin tha croggy yonder......."
