Well, That was a wet one !!

I kind of like a drenching, on the way home, not so keen on the way in but even so its only water and is rarely fatal in the form of rain, though I can do without the drivers who dont slow down in it.

You might not like this though!!

Good things about rainy weather commuting:

1. Provin' I'm 'ard/tough/stupid enough to do it.
2. Not overheating.
3. That's about it really.

Bad things about rainy weather commuting:

1. Being wet!
2. Drying wet gear in time to use it again the next day (not a problem when one has a steam turbine to stand it all next to)
3. My 3-month-old VDO AD08 has ceased to function, I presume due to moisture ingress.
4. My rather older Smart 5 LED rear light (one of two rear lights) wouldn't switch on this morning. When I took it apart I found it wouldn work due to, yes you've guessed, moisture ingress!

My 7 LED Smart died today, yes it was water

I rode up stream this morning....which was nice ! Beat everyone into work though because of all the flooded roads round here !

Radiator fix...... pull appart, remove batteries and leave on top of radiator... works a treat !

Did that, still does not work, needs to be fixed with a new one
