Well trained cyclists needed for PhD study (University of Birmingham)

New Member
Hi everyone,

I am a Sport Scientist at the University of Birmingham investigating the effects of antioxidant supplements on cycling adaptations, performance, and recovery.

I need a handful of cyclists to finish off 2 of my studies. For both studies I am looking to recruit cyclists who are:
  • Male
  • 18-35 years of age
  • Ride for 5 hours or more per week
  • Accustomed to exhaustive cycling
  • And either do or do not take a vitamin/antioxidant supplement
What do you get out of this?

Free VO2max and power tests; after completing either of the studies receiving training zones related to your functional threshold power (FTP) and/or heart rate. We are able to reimburse travel expenses (within limits).

If you would like more information feel free to send me message on here.

Thanks for taking the time to read through this,
