Apart from the fact it lets UV through, what is the problem with it? I would say if you do not wish to wear it for some weird vanity reason then the problem is not with the garment, but maybe your body.

Good point, so i would be fine to wear if it was in your club colour, or maybe just plain grey if that is your choice of colour.

and thats the same in every other sport whether it be cycling, football, rugby, cricket blah blah blah. its called merchandising and having the ability to fund their teams. i for one like sky and rapha clothing, but that doesnt make me a schmuck.
