I'd be tempted to do the frameset really simply in red, or maybe a red frame with white forks, or a variation on that theme, and then detail it in green. Green bar tape is easy to find, and even Fi'zi:k do a green (and a green and white) saddle. Maybe even green tyres if you're flash, something like Vittoria Rubino? As Welsh as a Welsh thing. Isn't it?

I'm Scottish/English, therefore British; no family connection with Wales at all but I love the Welsh flag. It's easy to see how it inspires pride.

Pleidiol wyf I'm gwlad,...... and all that..... the new 2017 Thompson frames offer bespoke colourways, but there isn't enough area in the colour flashes to make it obvious...... hence the question.... I was wondering if I could have a frame custom painted, but I haven't seen anything even approaching the colours, again, hence the question.... thanks for the feedback so far (without any pi55 taking)....

So if the frame has to match the actual layout of the Welsh flag, then surely you need a green bottom half, a white top half, and a red dragon around about where the space in the frame is?

As before, go for some form of overall red and white frame with green detailing (saddle, bar tape, bottle cages etc), or a green and white frame with red detailing, either one will look pretty "Welsh national colours". Put your pro name graphics on (with the welsh flag, natch) and your name, and Bob's your boyo.

Other than that I think it's a custom paint job you might be hankering after.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Excuse my ignorance here but are the colours different?
The Welsh use leek green, the Italians basil green. The red in Wales is the red of the blood of miners; in Italy it's the red of tomatoes. Italian white is the white of buffalo mozzarella. Welsh white is tinged with the tears of poets sacrificed by druids for minor errors of prosody.

Thehe Italian flag is a pizza. The Welsh flag the outpouring of hundreds of years of hurt.
