We've done this before. NASA did go to the moon. The conspiracy theories that the whole thing was faked were created by NASA themselves as a classic diversionary tactic as part of the cover up of the fact that they found a footprint there.

They did go. The astronauts left a laser target behind on the moon. If you have the equipment, you can bounce a laser off of the target and receive the reflected signal - proving they were there.

Mythbusters TV show debunked this one. We left reflectors on the moon which accurately reflect laser light whereas moon dust doesn't. The distance from Earth to the moon has been accurately measured countless times by shining a laser light at the Apollo landing sites. we now know that the moon is actually moving very slowly away from the Earth at about the same rate that your fingernails grow. That's how accurate it is!. So in about a million years, eclipses will not look the same and everyone will have really long fingernails

Probably the same people who question the existence of the Loch Ness Monster, ignore them, they'll go away eventually.

All that'd prove is that something was sent to the moon, with those as a payload.

i suspect that that the truth lies, as usual, between the two camps. the scientific data pretty much support the actuality of the moon landing (it was tracked by joderell bank's radio telescope), but it's not inconceivable that the yanks, worried about not getting some decent shots of the moon (which would be essential to ensure further mission funding from congress) mocked some up in case. if the pictures that came back from the moon were shite, it would have been a no-brainer to use the mocked-up ones…

No.

The only country who has any real interest in discrediting them, Russia, has failed to do so.

JFK was interested in a joint mission with Russia, to the point of inviting them to be part of it.
Russia had declared it had no interest in any manned mission to the moon.
Next race will be between private enterprise, China & India.
