Got all my winter kit back out before realising that both pairs of overshoes were at the office :cursing:

Very windy, very wet but everything was warm . . apart from my toes. I'd tell you how cold they were but I cannot feel them.

Better not do. Guess who is in a static caravan on the North Wales Coast over Easter

Are you sure it's static?

Now there's a phrase from the 70's, "static caravan". Why use the word "static"-seems strange when better words could have been used? I always think that the caravan will give you a static shock when I hear that.

I digress - feck me it was windy this morning. I was a "static cyclist" heading north into Manchester this morning.

Meh, still in shorts in London this morning  It was a tad cold mind but nice and sunny

That said getting wet on the way home last night was a bit novel - can't remember the last time I needed a waterproof on the commute

What ever  - London has a micro climate anyway, all that heat from the buildings ! Softies ! ;)

Glorious last week; the warmest March since 1929 (apparently?) April, sleet, snow and high winds  Go figure?

It's brightening up here for this afternoon, so I might get a loop in

Was really cold on the way in, a biting wind too!
Played footie at lunchtime on the fields and after the game when I was changing, I didnt have the strength in my fingers to do up my trousers!

Headwind throwing snow/sleet in my eyes (S. Manchester) was particularly unplesant this morning, worse than most of the 'proper' winter we've had, and especially so compared to last week. But at least the sun's out now, and this afternoon's ride home won't be too bad. Bet I don't get a tail wind though.
