This behaviour is nothing to do with her sex or her size. It happens all the time, and in my experience it's typically "professional" drivers, who tend to be men.

Please don't go on about her size or gender. It makes this place pretty unwelcoming to women and those who need to loose some weight. And often they are the people that might come here most in need of support and encouragement.

Are you Joan who works in my office?

The fact she is a complete lardy probably indicates she's pathetically weak-willed, whilst at the same time having a hugely over-inflated (ha ha) sense of her own importance/attractiveness. On top of that I bet daddy bought her the car as no employer in their right mind would give someone that size a job (unless it was testing Krispy Kreme donuts).

All the best.

A rude, pig-ignorant, misogynist wind-up merchant.

PS. Do you think her and her chum have to be poured into the car?

Well, her driving was below standard. Accept that, and possible reaction from the less protected road user is hardly unexpected.

Next, three offences, one failing to give way at the correct point (hard to make stick) and two times no seat belt, that two fixed penalties thank you - maybe three if the rear seat occupant was also non-compliant.

Next, the comments about size are not pertinent. She may have a glandular problem, as may her friend. Generally the gland at the front of the face being overfilled is the one. You have to feel for people with this problem, and admire those who do something about it - I personally know a lady who managed to lose almost 50kg in a year, by simple sums, more exercise, change to a proper diet, calories out exceeds calories in.
Then again, I get "heightist" comments about lack of centimetres, always have. They disappear along with the commenter, by the simple method of a slight acceleration on the first available climb, or a slight and steady increase in speed - not difficult!

Seriously? What planet are you from? I've worked with many, many fat and talented people. It's very common to have a problem in one aspect of your life and still work well in others: binge drinking, serial adulterers, gamblers etc etc. In fact, I'd much rather work with someone who had food issues, as it's less likely to impinge on work.

gb155: how incompetent were you before you lost the weight?

Let's face it, we're geared towards having food need by evolution, so it's no surprise that in these times of plenty quite a few of us have a minor issue.

The "glandular problem" quote made me laugh out loud though. Yeah right.

Dunno about gb155 there but I managed to pull a resonable job with plenty of responsibility, for a high profile multinational IT company when I weighed 23 stone and smoked too. The fact that I have the job that I do shows I'm not stupid; I know the consequences of being an overweight smoker.

I quit smoking a while ago, and lost 8 stone more recently. I haven't suddenly become Einstein as a result, I do believe I'm more capable in my job but I suspect that is due to experience than scoffing food

BTW the urge to binge on pies is still present, **** knows why. I enjoy my job, my family and life in general, I can only assume it is an addiction
