What a result !!!

I had a right result this afternoon, I was pedalling around the town and I saw my fixie that had got stolen on 8th April being ridden by some youth.

I rode alongside him, and pulled him off it, I was about to go into human windmill mode and he said that he'd bought it from Gumtree a couple of weeks ago.

I said I was going to call the police, but he said that I could have the bike back.

So I now have a surplus fixie.....................................

Could you not force him to put up a bit of a struggle?

Result! (Provided the police do not turn up at your doorstep and accuse you of stealing the bike from the poor, innocent youth!)

Great you have your bike back, pity you had not contacted police or had a way of taking youths picture to inform police but great result.

Thank goodness you where cycling and not walking when you seen your bike or you may have been trying for a 4 minute mile.

I do have pictures of the bloke. As I rode alongside him and shouted, 'smile you thieving c*** ', took the picture and then launched myself at him.

He had a name badge on, but it was an unpronounceable Eastern European name.

Just pleased that I got my treader back

How was it nicked mate?

My mate many years ago left his bike outside the local grocery store and had gone in...So me being a wag or something like that promptly "nicked" it and took it up to my flat....Cue ten minutes later in a mad panic he had knocked at my door...and when I saw him I larfed so hard I almost wet myself.Of course I gave it back.

Blimey if I left mine out for half a minute it'd be gone.(or something like that)

I take it it was locked then? What sort of lock?
