Many many years ago my son was working on his old Raleigh Amazon at the back door of our house. The garden was gated, but they still took the bike.

Shame they didn't know the brake cables weren't attached.

I often wonder what they hit.

Yes, it was locked (with what I thought at the time, quite a substantial cable lock)............ I have since purchased a Gold Sold Secure D lock

Ah cable lock...Yes I've had that end in tears as well.
