Just a thought but as there is only one of them and it seems like an odd spare might it be worth checking to see if both have been installed on the bike?

Put the rubber plug on your top cap bolt to keep water out when you wash the bike. If you don't want it please send it to me as I want one of those.

Correct - unlike those black polished things kitchen shops call granite. Very pretty granite it is too - my favourite igneous rock.

I also suspect it came with nail polish.. there's a little vial of black liquid with a brush applicator on the lid which definitely smells like it.

That little pin on the right? don't chuck that until you gave ridden the bike a few times just in case, I mean what if something that holds the whole thing together depends on it? You never know with these modern gadgets
